Rapid and great right midfielder, he inexhaustibly gives
his all, very agile in attacking the opponent player in
order to recover the ball and immediately reset the action.
He started out in the National Team at the age of nineteen
only (28th October 1992, Turkey - San Marino 4-1), but
a severe accident in Spring of the following year has
temporarily interrupted his career.
After 18 months break, Fatih Terim newly introduced him
to the game, making him a pivot of Galatasary and of the
representative team of his country. He doesn't score as
much, but the Italy from Dino Zoff at the 2000 European
Championship reminds him prefectly: he has been the author
for the momentaneous 1-1 between Italy and Turkey. |
